REPOSSESSIONS:
Datalink Commercial Services’ experienced agents have the proven capacity to negotiate the handing over of security assets or the payment of arrears.

We are compliant to the ASIC/ACCC Debt Collection Guidelines in our field activities. Our agents are trained in the areas of privacy legislation, the Uniform Consumer Credit Code and the Federal Trade Practices Act which all have a potential impact on the way repossessions can be achieved.

We provide a professional service offering national coverage and clients are fully informed throughout the recovery process.

A comprehensive inspection report is compiled and digital photos taken at the time of repossession. Our tow contractors are under contract and carry all relevant insurances and the security is delivered to the nominated storage point as soon as possible.

FIELD CALLS:
Field calls are conducted in accordance with strict regulatory and internal compliance guidelines, providing an effective tool in the recovery process especially when the subject cannot be reached by phone or the subject refuses to provide required information. They are conducted as a means to establish contact and occupancy, gain information and attempt to obtain a repayment arrangement and will assist the client in assessing an individuals circumstances and making informed decisions based on accurate information.

Datalink Commercial Services will:
• Confirm the address
• Serve any demand letters or notices upon the customer
• Confirm contact numbers, work, residential and mobiles
• Interview the customer regarding his or her financial situation
• Demand payment of arrears and make arrangements for future payments
• Evaluate their assets for potential litigation
• Report on condition of property including any security held
• If customer has left the address, interview neighbours and commence skip tracing procedures
• Report back any assets including motor vehicles etc

In conducting Skip Tracing Datalink Commercial Services is fully aware of the requirements of the Privacy Act and adheres strictly to these guidelines.

Datalink Commercial Services is able to provide clients with information that is held by statutory bodies and conducts in house searches using a variety of medium including Australian Securities & Investment Commission, Company searches, Business name search Director searches, Bankruptcy search, Electoral Roll searches and Tenancy searches.

PROCESS SERVING:
Datalink Commercial offers process services for all legal documents. We guarantee a prompt, efficient service locally and nationally.

At the completion of all Process Service files, Affidavits, if required, are prepared in accordance with the respective Court Jurisdiction requirements and returned together with our comprehensive service report.

Documents are served within time frames agreed unless debtors are no longer at the given address. All attempts are made to locate debtors who have left the addresses supplied before documents are returned to your office unserved.
